KeystoneREN is excited to welcome our new Director of Client Engagement, Lawrence “Larry” G. Gallery. Larry is responsible for identifying, developing, and supporting strategic client relationships and partnerships focusing on the innovative use of digital technologies and cyberinfrastructure by educational, research, and non-profit institutions in Pennsylvania and beyond. Larry has dedicated his 37+ year career to supporting the communities he serves and is passionate about extending the research of advanced cyberinfrastructure and broadband to unserved and underserved communities.
Prior to joining KeystoneREN, Larry was the Director of Member Services and K20
Programs at NYSERNet, where he served the New York research and education
community for 26 years. Larry is active in Educause and has led numerous global
research and education programs including the Teaching and Learning Across the Pond distance learning program and live performance events and music instruction using LOLA for K12. He also served as the Internet2 Teaching & Learning Special Interest
Group Co-Chair. Larry obtained his bachelors degree in Social Science with a minor in
International Studies from Utica University and his masters degree in Organization
Communication and Telecommunication from University of at Albany.
